Dillo's Dilemma

Technical Designer, Nov 2024 - Present Day : Capstone @ FIEA

Dillo’s Dilemma is a multiplayer 3D platformer developed by the Moonspice Games 18-man team at FIEA. Inspired by Yooka-Laylee and Spyro: Year of the Dragon, the game emphasizes creative movement—enhanced by pinball mechanics. Players can strategically place pinball-style structures throughout levels to maintain momentum and complete missions. As a Technical Designer, my contributions include implementing dynamic, speed-based camera systems and designing interactive pinball structures that integrate seamlessly into the overworld.

Stralina Fantasy is an ARPG featuring ten levels, twelve unique enemies, and a responsive player controller. Developed with a team of three other programmers, this game won "Best Game Design" out of a classroom of 44 other games. I led the team through their first time using Unity Engine, and was responsible for programming the player controller, progression system, and enemy behavior. While bringing this project to life, my primary goal was to make sure that the gameplay stayed fresh, exciting, and impactful.

Fire Emblem: Tower Infinite 84

Solo Developer, Sep 2021 - Aug 2023 : Personal Project

Fire Emblem: Tower Infinite 84 is a version of Nintendo's Fire Emblem games that I created by myself for the Ti-84 Calculator.  This game is a tactical, turn-based roguelike with a steady difficulty curve and a lot of abilities to discover.  Some of the main challenges in this project were learning to optimize and debug the low-level TI-Basic programming language, as well as exercising self-discipline and time management.
